I love visiting the Ohio Ren Fest every year!
The festival itself is very cool. Lovely time and interesting visuals. The shows are fun and entertaining. I really like the crafts and handmade items. Traffic, however, is an absolute nightmare. 2 hours to get in and out. Not only is it a major pain but it creates an unsafe situation because of aggravation. The amount of traffic is not well handled or managed. If you choose to attend, it is a good time. Poorly managed traffic control rains on that parade a bit. Always an awesome time there. Second time this year. Yesterday was the first time that traffic was so horrible. Sat 21/2 hours in traffic from I71 to parking lot same leaving but I’ll return

first time there it was amazing. only think I wished that could change was the ramps to their buildings and bathrooms were at a lower pitch so it didn't feel like I was going to flip my power wheelchair. then there were shops I couldn't go in to look and buy cause there were no ramps or the ramps had to high of a lip that my power wheelchair couldn't get up over it. my foot plate got jammed into the dirt at bottom of ramp cause the pitch was too steep. the walk ways and areas I was able to get my power wheelchair. it was a g... read more
Work out the parking situation! It took 2.5 hours to just get denied and rerouted to a different entrance. You HAVE to get that worked out.

We go every year and have yet to be disappointed.
I love the faire—truly I do—but I have suggestions—sell tickets for a specific day—today was WAY oversold that it wasn’t enjoyable. We waited for 2 1/2 hours on route 73 to get in—then when we got there, we waited for an hour in the beer line and an hour and 45 in the spud line—with someone passing out right in front of us—you should also have random beer carts spread out through the fest—plus parking—add $1 to everyone/‘s tickets, getting in today was absolutely awful.
