I love the faire—truly I do—but I have suggestions—sell tickets for a specific day—today was WAY oversold that it wasn’t enjoyable. We waited for 2 1/2 hours on route 73 to get in—then when we got there, we waited for an hour in the beer line and an hour and 45 in the spud line—with someone passing out right in front of us—you should also have random beer carts spread out through the fest—plus parking—add $1 to everyone/‘s tickets, getting in today was absolutely awful. Always a blast when we go!
Normally a wonderful festival. It seems this year the crowds are horrible, traffic is backed up for hours. Lines are impossibly long both getting in and out of the grounds as well as once inside. When the festival isn't oversold, it is a magical time! <3 If you can brave the crowds, you will absolutely love it. Attaching some pictures I took from the event
