Each year it's like Christmas when I get to go to the Renaissance Festival. I've taken over a handful of people for their first time, ranging for small children to grandparents, and everytime life long memories are made. Shout out to the pickle guy, he's a hoot! Yes it can be pricy but when you want authentic surroundings, great people watching, so many shows you can't see them all in one day, amazing and playfull vendors, plus different food at every turn... it's well worth it.
I had a Blast! I cant wait to make another trip to go again!
We really enjoyed the festival. Being first timers we didn't realize we would be paying beyond the ticket price for games/rides. With 3 kids the cost of the extras plus parking prohibited us from really saving money by going on Labor Day. The festival workers need some kind of identification, with everyone in costume it's hard to tell who is visiting and who is working. Our favorite was the fire eating, kids didn't move!
I really was not interested in going but got talked into it. Actually had a great time. A very well put together event.
