My family has always gotten season passes and gone almost every weekend, but this year they seemed to be much more lax about their smoking policy. They have signs that say "Smoking is not permitted inside any festival shop in the seating areas of festival stages, the grandstand, or food booths" but this is not enforced in the slightest. Pipes, cigars, cigarettes, vaping, people were smoking everywhere! My girlfriend is allergic to cigarette smoke and it got so bad that we had to leave a show that we had paid to go to because... read more

I have been to the Festival every year for almost 20 years. I hated missing last year. My wife and I went this year and were made to feel most unwelcome by patrons and vendors alike. My wife is handicapped and uses a power chair to get around. She also has heart and breathing problems that make a mask problematic. Because of this she has been stuck at home throughout the pandemic. I had hoped that going to the faire would be an enjoyable experience for her as it had been the first 4 years we were together, before her... read more

Paid full price for tickets online.. Took. over 3 hours to park that we would have gotten tickets for half price had we bought them there. We were absolutely starved by the time we got there. Ordered food and 35 minutes later asked about my food. Was told they were just behind 10 minutes later was told they lost our order So we only had an hour to look around. Emailed management and they don't email back or call. It was fun in years past, but I have no intention of going back anytime soon . They need to limit tickets for th... read more

We have been going to this Renaissance Faire multiple times a season religiously for the last 10 years. Unfortunately, this years handling of the overcrowding and accommodations at the park have been so awful that we will probably never return. Many people are blaming “covid cabin fever” for the large influx of people, HOWEVER; even if that’s true, we ARE right in the middle of a global pandemic, and the number of people allowed into the park should be limited, with first dibs going to people who bought their tickets or seas... read more

As much as it pains me, I can’t say I recommend Ohio ren fest for the rest of this season 😞 I look forward to the faire every year. Haven’t missed a year since 2013 (aside from last year being cancelled obviously) so I was very excited to come this year. We got there around 10:30 yesterday so our experience getting in wasn’t too bad. However it was so overcrowded nothing could be enjoyed. We only stepped into a handful of shops because everywhere was jam packed. We were lucky to grab food early on, but by 12:30 food lines... read more

Horrible traffic, parking. Waited 3+ hours and never got in. Hoping for refunds. Wouldn’t recommend at all.

sat in traffic for TWO HOURS & didn't even get close to the entrance, we ended up turning around and leaving. It was awful! I have also read from multiple people that they had to wait TW0 hours to LEAVE the festival? how does that even happen? $100 for tickets just down the drain. Absolutely unacceptable to just let people sit in traffic like that and not have a way to inform people of the wait times. But, I guess they got what they wanted- money. I do not recommend wasting your time with this festival & I will definite... read more

Almost 4 hours from the highway to the door... 4hours - 3 miles And you have the audacity to charge everyone full price for the last 3 hours left? You guys really know how to kill an entire day. I may return one day, but not in the near future
